Kyle Vonk, DDS

Dr. Vonk is a native of Michigan, having grown up in Battle Creek, Michigan. Following a predilection for the sciences and an appreciation of the natural world, a degree in biology came naturally as an undergraduate study at Central Michigan University. Desiring to be of service to others and with its unique combination of art and science, Dr. Vonk found his niche in the field of dentistry, graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in 1993. This was followed by a residency in hospital dentistry completed at the University of Michigan Hospital. Dr. Vonk is happy to have landed back in Michigan to practice, having already provided 29+ years of patient-centered dental care to the greater Saint Joseph area. Dr. Vonk enjoys providing the full range of general dental services for his family of dental patients. This includes working with excellent specialists, when indicated, to obtain the best functional and aesthetic results for each individual patient.

Dr. Vonk is a booster for the Southwestern Michigan area, appreciating its natural beauty and lakeside lifestyle while still being within easy reach of Chicago. Some of Dr. Vonk's interests include bicycling, healthy/vegetarian eating, sustainable living, travel, spending time with family and friends as well as being an avid consumer of books.

Megan

Dental Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator

Megan works directly with Dr. Vonk, chairside, providing thoughtful, compassionate care for all our patients. Megan has a past history in early childhood education/childcare as well as in the field of dentistry for over 9 years. Her experience in the clinical aspects of dentistry are a benefit for our patients care as well as Dr. Vonk. Megan is a relatively new transplant to the area from Cincinnati. She enjoys finding fun new things to do in the area with her three beautiful children. Megan has two great danes and enjoys family time in her off hours.

Chloe

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Chloe Weiffenbach is a dedicated dental hygienist who graduated with honors from the dental hygiene program at Ferris State University in 2020. With a passion for patient care and a gentle approach, Chloe strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient she treats. Known for her considerate manner and attention to detail, Chloe takes pride in building trust and helping patients feel at ease throughout their dental visits. Her professionalism, compassion and commitment to quality care make her an integral part of the dental team and highly valued by patients. Chloe has been a part of this community her entire life and graduated from St. Joseph High School prior to her dental hygiene training. Chloe has been with Michigan Coast Dental since 2024. In her free time she enjoys being with her husband, daughter, and French bulldog.
